I've never bothered with that, or disconnecting the battery. A good battery maintainer is a better option. And it keeps all the necessary bits going. Are there things I can turn off if I know the car is going to sit for a long period of time? I've heard people say to turn off the wifi. Is there anything else that draws power that can be disabled manually?
