No idea what the charge rate is. But I'm only 2 hours in and its charged. Solid green light. The Deltran battery Tender is OK for AGM. As long as the charge voltage is 1.25v. But newer charts also show the 800 and 750 mah working for AGM.…so go figure…lol. Though there has been some worry about anything lower than a 1.25v charge being too low for the AGM to recognize properly.
But you brought up a good point to look out for in inferior chargers. Ryan’s instruction sheet mentions an AGM, so it must account for it.
Ryan, what’s your Tender’s charge rate?

OK, we were a bit rougher then, generally over 12v was OK and over 14v on start up dropping back to 13.5v or so while running. I'll bow to Google wisdom.Well I know from wrenching that a fully charged battery should be 12.6v or more. When running you should be above 13.5v.
I googled 12.3v, and it says that is about a 70% charge.![]()
I had the cluster issue as well. My Ford dealer fixed it. Im usually good at keeping records but think i can find the service invoice to see what they did..Well, update completed. I learned something new today. Thanks @Starship Enterprise for your help.
...now i just need to get this damn instrument cluster memory issue solved. Is no one else experiencing this?
Or do this!If using the Deltran Battery Tender, with the state of your battery, the first few times expect a full red charge light for a solid 14-20 hours! Then it will go into flashing green final charge for about 3-4 hours, then solid green. After you do it a few times, expect a full red light charge for only 6-10 hours, easily a good overnight charge if using daily.
Note the charging times and as you see progressively shorter charging periods, you know you are seeing a healthier battery.
Now for me I’m topped off in 4-8hours…..
When I first put the trickle charger on my wife’s brand new Lincoln, it was full red-light charge for like 48 hours the first few times! Now it tops off in about 6 hours.
I also highly recommend making a reminder card and put it on the driver seat. I did after absent mindedly starting my last Mustang and backing out of the garage only to see in horror it was still connected.

Although, if it becomes a requirement it ends up resembling something like this:Or do this!

I plug my car in 100% of the while its in the garage, so yes it stays right there always. Please tell me you don't leave it like that.
