And it works just fine. Just check every so often to ensure it stays in place.Until that happens. It's certainly better than all that crap getting inside the car.

Just curious if the picture you posted is the actual brand of tape you used to fix the holes (duck tape brand)? And it works just fine. Just check every so often to ensure it stays in place.
That's what I used before I put the plastic covers on, the material of the liners allowed some moisture to get behind part of the tape causing it to peel a bit. It did keep debris out though.Just curious if the picture you posted is the actual brand of tape you used to fix the holes (duck tape brand)?
Someone else mentions using this tape which is water proof so might be worth the few extra bucks:

OK thanks for the reply I will probably go with it as a temporary fix. Also did you have to clean out a bunch of debris before taping the holes? If so, I assume after you taped the holes you wouldn't need to clean anything out before installing the plastic covers. Also did you install the covers that the gentleman created that sell for around $90ish dollars? His name escapes me at the moment. That's what I used before I put the plastic covers on, the material of the liners allowed some moisture to get behind part of the tape causing it to peel a bit. It was in winter so I didn't have may miles on it, I had to remove the liner to get a fastener, there were a few in there. I posted a picture earlier in the thread, because it was cold I didn't explore the holes before installing the plastic covers, I also didn't do the cleanest job so soon I will smooth out covers with more JB weld and take a peek in the holes for debris. If I find any I'll post it.OK thanks for the reply I will probably go with it as a temporary fix. Also did you have to clean out a bunch of debris before taping the holes? if you are driving on clean roads and no gravel drives or roads then there shouldn’t be much In there, but I can tell you what ever rail yards our car went through in transport were gravel because ours was full of stones and they were not from our driveway. This picture was taken an hour after the car came directly from the dealer. It was the same amount on both sidesOK thanks for the reply I will probably go with it as a temporary fix.
