Remote Start issues via Ford App - only wheel heats up

Hi - I’ve got a UK spec GT… so no remote start on the key fob. I have to use the Ford app.

When I start the car via the app to warm it up ONLY the heated steering wheel comes on.
When I open the door and get in the fans are not a-blowing and the seats are not a-warming.

I have tried leaving the settings (via the dashboard screen) when on both Auto and Last Used, but get the same result.

The weird thing is that the App shows me buttons for the fans and seat and steering wheel when used to remote start and everything is on and set - yet only the steering wheel actually is on when I get to the car.

When I first tried it out a few months ago to test it… it DID work. Now that it’s actually cold and I want to use the feature, it doesn’t.

Anyone else have the same issue? Anyone have any advice (again, I have already tried both Auto and Last Used settings)?

Yeah… no.
I read that thread before I posted, thanks.

‘Last settings’ overrides any outside temperature issues and the app is showing me those very same last settings activated on my phone screen… and yet only the steering wheel warms up.

It’s a bug somewhere - not user error… The wheel and seat are part of the same settings on the dash, but only the wheel comes on.

just wondering if anyone else has the same issue or a solve…

When it did work, it was before the Ford Pass updated to just being the Ford app… so I’m wondering if it might be the app creating the problem rather than the car

Everything works fine once the ignition is on BTW… but it’s frustrating to try and warm the car up ahead of time but end out still sitting in it while the windshield demists.

Okay, so when I tried it today those buttons in the app for the fans, seat and steering wheel weren’t there.

Instead, the slider button you drag to start the car did indeed start the car but instantly popped back to the left as if the car was off again.

Is there a method for resetting the car modem or disconnecting from the Ford app and reconnecting?
Yesterday I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled, but it was already logged in and ready to go when I reopened it…
