I-4 is the road to and from Hell, IMHO it is the worst road in Florida

I guess the unmarked S650 finally convinced the guy to stop after being clocked at 148 MPH

When I was 16 I had a Karmann Ghia. I guy ran a red light while fleeing Police after three previous hit and runs. He t-boned me. Hit me so hard he bent my car like a U. Tore my seat belts right out of the floor anchors. I went out the side window and was sitting on someone's lawn. No shoulder belt in those days. Broke my collar bone, my nose and a bunch of ribs. Fair number of stitches to my face. He was drunk as a skunk and not in very good shape either but he was a lot worse when the ambulances arrived after the Police questioned him. :-) Am I against Police chases? NO - these AHs have to be stopped. These days helicopters, spike belts and ram belts make things a lot safer. No to be a hypocrite - I have driven dumb as a kid but we went to old air strips or industrial lots - never put anyone but ourselves at risk. I see insane driving these days, I guess it's part of the "I'm more important than everyone else movement".

that's an S550. i know of at least 5 unmarked S550 police vehicles in AZ, i even got pulled over by one for "exhibition of speed", but got nothing, not even a warning. officer lied to my face about me saying i was fishtailing, and then told the story to a salesperson, which mysteriously had changed to omit the fishtailing and now claims i did a burnout at a light. what had actually, truly happened was: i accelerated to turn right from a light that had just turned green, and i had the sport exhaust on. i just think he was jealous because his vehicle was a base GT, non-performance pack. if anyone could please inform me of how to fishtail at 45mph with 355/30R19 Pilot Sport 4S tires, that would be great, thanks

I was on the interstate, right lane. 80 in a 70. Approaching a slower car but had a Mustang grill 50-60 ft approaching on my left rear in the left lane. I didn’t want to get pinned in so I hit the gas (Sport Mode - loud rumble) to go around & not impede approaching Mustang. All this happened in a few seconds. Once over & ahead of slower car, gave turn signal to move over & checked the mirror. VA State Patrol Mustang 3 car links behind me. Those low profile light were more noticeable now. He didn’t pull me. I guess I benefited from the Mustang brotherhood.

FHP has a number of unmarked S550 Mustang GTs all over the state. More in South Florida than up North, but they're out there (there's a silver one in my county). No exterior markings or lights, dark tinted windows, and no loud colors (i.e. no grabber blue, yellow or orange ones) - the only giveaways are the radio antenna and the black FHP license plate...

It figures. It's always a clown in a G37 that pulls up next to my e90 M3 and tries to entice me into a drag race. Not only am I smart enough to keep that stuff on the track, what's the point when I know I can beat him anyway?
