I have not seen much on performance improvement (HSP curve and max hsp). What is the expected gain when tuning a stock manual GT?

Thanks

From what I've read and seen ~20hp max on 93 tune, if that
~50hp+ on E85 fuel.
I run a flex tune from DRP Motorsports for last 8 months.
During the summer with E70 which is max I get in my area , she is noticeably faster all through the rpm's .
In the winter I use 93 and it's ok.

I looked into this very question when I first got my GT. Tuner told me that a tune wasn’t worth the dollars spent for a stock GT. To spend my dollars on bolt on’s and then come back. Right now I’m happy with the performance, I’m not looking to race it, although a track day would be fun. I built a stage three focus ST a few years back and the dyno proved the benefit. So I’ve got with eye appeal mostly for now. Installed the Steeda Pro-flow intake for the looks and upper strut brace, I’m happy. 😊

Take all the numbers you see with a grain of salt, dynos can be manipulated and the same car/tune can vary widely from run to run based on a ton of things...

If one says they can get significantly more than the others, something's up

Gone are the days when I could get 15 - 20hp increase on my Suzuki Bandit with just a can and a rejet.

To the point: 93 octane, and corn fumes. Where I’m at 91 is it. My GT is a daily driver, tuning for 20 HP IMHO is worthless. I would rather have a nice looking good handling GT. Tortoise & the hare, it’s all about what you want from your vehicle. Nether is wrong.

It helps get rid of fords boat anchor throttle response and lets you use all of the throttlebodies you paid for. Factory tune restricted the gt a bit i believe palm beach did a comparison of the dh tune to the gt tune. The gt had a 97% max open at wot. Its a bunch of small things that add up. Normal mode feels smoother and sport has more twitch in the throttle and wheel speed. Is it massive no is it better yes. 24 gt with a six speed

After a stage 1 tune on my manual GT (Australian delivered) I had 30kW and 59nm gain, measured at the wheels.
