  1. Can the S650 10R80 be tuned to skip more gears?

If I recall correctly. You can skip gears in the auto.
  2. Can the S650 10R80 be tuned to skip more gears?

If you click just a bit too slow then it will literally shift before you get the second click in. It’s not nearly as fast as a dual clutch, but it’s still pretty darn quick.
  3. Can the S650 10R80 be tuned to skip more gears?

I feel like this did when I test drove a couple automatic GTs, but if I recall correctly if you got the timing wrong it would shift twice instead of shifting gears.
  4. Can the S650 10R80 be tuned to skip more gears?

Good luck. This is one of the bigger drivers for my getting the manual. I don’t enjoy the sound from the automatic because it’s just shifting constantly.

Dang. I had to use painters tape and a strap wrench to install the bullitt shift knob on mine. I’ve never seen a mod require so much torque to install, but apparently it’s by design. It isn’t going anywhere.
  6. Rear Recaro Seats – Does This Look Normal?

I will never miss the days of hooking up car seats to the latch points. My kids are just about big enough to no longer need the booster seats, but at least those don’t use the latches. Totally normal and required by law. My GTI had the best latches, my wife’s CR-V the worst. Any modern car...

  8. 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible Officially Revealed

Unlikely. It’ll cost a bit more because it’s price is double so that’s a given. But the people who buy convertible mustangs are generally pretty boring. It won’t be wildly more expensive. It’s not like we’re talking about a Charger Scat Pack or a Prius here. True story my wife’s old 2015 Prius...
  9. Horsepower wars and "how much is too much"?

I’ve always driven ā€œfastā€ cars. My model 3 performance was the first car I drove that felt too fast. It was exhilarating to drive, but ultimate more speed than anyone actually needs. So I sold it and bought my second Mustang. The Mustang is plenty fast without being completely absurd. There is a...

Just don’t sell it. If it’s worth being bought then it’s probably worth keeping!

The only cosmetic change I wanted.
  13. Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible leaked! Sighting photos

That is fantastic. I hope they actually mass produce them. It’s just silly having a regular GT being the top trim available as a convertible.
  14. GT first impressions (very first)

It also works during upshifts. It will stall the rev drop at exactly the right entry point. It’s very convenient.
  15. I get it now - traction in cold weather

Nice! We spend 4-5 months of the year below freezing and bottom out at -40 c on the worst days.
  16. GT first impressions (very first)

GT performance package has it stock, even non PP convertible GT has it stock. Strut tower and k brace.
  17. I get it now - traction in cold weather

Yeah summer tires aren’t rated for below 45 F. At 0 they’re basically hockey pucks. Better to use all seasons or maintain a second set of tires. Good luck.
  18. Dashcam

It isn’t going to save my life, but it sure as hell will help reduce if not eliminate any liability if some idiot whips out in front of me. I’ve had my Garmin X310 from when I bought my car and it just runs of the rearview mirror USB port. So no drawn out wiring or hiding cables or splicing...
  19. Rev Matching. Yes or no?

Depends on the road. Too high and you’ll slow down, too low and you’ll keep gaining speed. but the entry into the gear still needs to have the RPMs properly synced up to avoid burning the clutch.
  20. Rev Matching. Yes or no?

Engine braking is fine and a very efficient way to slow down or moderate speed. Especially when you’re going down a mountain road. If you have 10 minutes downhill its way better to just sit a gear lower than normal and use zero fuel or brakes to maintain speed than it would be to sit on the...
