Seems fine enough. I’d probably aim it lower so I’d have line of sight on the bumper. It does make you wonder why ford didn’t set the backup camera to be full screen.
If you call the parts office of your ford dealer, tell them your vin and what you have here, they’ll be able to tell you the exact part number for those nuts.
personally I have track exhaust set to my custom driver mode. So it’s two clicks up on the mode selector as soon as the engine starts up. That’s been good enough for me.
This is simply not true. quiet mode 100% works on a cold start. Sure the car is still louder before the initial RPM drop, but it’s just being louder through the full muffler. The pass through is closed in quiet mode. I know this because I use it every single day when I go to work. Engaging track...
This is almost always due to low battery. If I don’t drive my car for a week or even daily in the winter the car puts itself into battery protection mode. It drops to the default for all the system settings. Its super frustrating as I’ve never had another car that dropped settings so...
I’ve got about 10k miles on my GT convertible and primarily with the top down. I wanted the covers when I bought my car, but it didn’t include them. I figured I’d go a couple thousand miles and see if I still cared. I don’t at all. They’re completely unnecessary, they can damage the top, and...
Yep. The active exhaust is night and day better than the base exhaust. The AE sounds as good as a Mustang can before it becomes obnoxious to most people. There are cars that sound better, but not many.
I have it the opposite. I have quiet set to the star button. It’s the only reliably way I have found to immediately turn off track mode regardless of what the screen is trying to do. It also lets me set it to quiet mode immediately after start up.
Sport mode is pretty similar to normal, it just opens up a little bit earlier across the power band and throttle application. Track mode leaves the valve fully open at all times. I love track mode. But I basically use either track or quiet at this point. I never use sport and almost never use...
Absolutely! 6 hp is everything when you have 100 hp to start with. You’d need to measure in hundredths of a second to be sure anything changed at all when you already had 480 hp.
The active exhaust that comes stock is more than loud enough. After a full year with it, I can not imagine wanting a louder exhaust. It gets the job done and sounds incredible. Its already a nuisance as it is. Making it louder would be obscene for a road car.
Now if it was only for the...
I test drove a dozen Mustangs before I bought my 24. For overall package the active exhaust is the only way to go. For normal driving I keep the exhuast in track mode because it sounds great. But for freeway driving I put it in quiet to eliminate the drone and excess noise. I also use quiet for...
Interesting. It looks like skoda only puts it on their sporty trims, but they do have it and it does work by holding the brake and then gas together. But the regular ones dont get it, even with the DSG.
Yeah my last car was a model 3 performance. It is basically impossible to make a Mustang GT launch as hard as that car did. But launch speed has nothing to do with why I bought my car. I wanted something that would be fun to drive at any speed and not a one-trick pony.
I used to wear vivo barefoot shoes back when they still used Kevlar for the soles. Those were the best driving shoes I’ve ever owned. Vans have practically rock hard soles and I’ve never found them to be good for pedal feel.
