Whats up guys I made a video explaining why I think S650 Mustang Sales are about to go through the roof, mostly because they are now tunable, but also because of the tax savings you can now get in 2025 for buying made in America vehicles, and some other reasons I put in the video. Let me know if you agree, and if you disagree, definitely let me know why cause I'm still new to this community but I honestly believe that sales are about to take off.

However, a new, temporary deduction for vehicle loan interest is included in the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," signed into law in July 2025.
This temporary provision allows taxpayers to deduct up to $10,000 annually for interest paid on loans for new American-assembled vehicles purchased between 2025 and 2028.
The vehicle must be for personal use and have undergone final assembly in the United States.
The deduction is not available for used vehicles or loans taken out before December 31, 2024.
There's an income cap for claiming the full deduction. It phases out for individuals with modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) between $100,000 and $150,000 and for joint filers with MAGI between $200,000 and $250,000.

Yup I agree, especially if the economy improves and gets better.
Another interesting factor that could lead to coupe and sports car sales picking back up. People like these types of cars, and they always have, I believe they always will. The main things that have hurt them is their lack of practicality, and their price.

Well both of those issues kinda come down to spouses and kids when you think about it. If you get married, and have kids, you have to haul around a lot more stuff, so practicality becomes a much bigger concern. Young people really aren't getting married, or having kids, so a 2 door sports car is more feasible for them, and because they don't have kids, they have more disposable income to actually buy a mustang or something like that.

Young people are massive car enthusiasts,it's just that being young, it's still gonna take a little bit before you see them buying their dream car. I actually believe smaller cars and cars as a whole will start to make a comeback as buyers have less of a need to carry a ton of people and things around like they do now.

Is the reason the convertibles don’t have the rear glass heritage reminder, because, when you are, you don’t need to reference?

i also get a chuckle when i hear the little 5.0 called a big v8
It is these days. Germans/Brits are nearly all 4.4L, some Italian exotics are 6+L V12's. What's left, Chevy and Dodge?

I don't know how it is in the States, but women are major decision makers for family cars here, nd they want SUV's.
I can't tell you how good it is to drive a car that's low to the ground again.

No they hate special orders.

Re-read what I posted. They want you to buy off the lot and take a car out of inventory. Then the car is taken out of floor plan and no more interest is being paid to the bank depending how long it has been in inventory.
Agreed and you didn’t even mention the issue of special order deals that fall through! Yeah, dealers are not a fan for sure!

That's why my wife bought her Explorer ST and I bought my Dark Horse. When it is just the 2 of us, we are in the Mustang. When we have the kids we are rocking the ST. Both are a blast to drive in their own way.

I'm a young person and cars are basically my religion lol. With every generation, you've had people who loved cars and driving, and the majority of people who didn't. Back in the day, you didn't have an option, even if you didn't like cars and driving, you still often had to drive to get around. These days, the people who don't want to drive just take an Uber, or rely on public transportation to get around, people like them have always existed, it's just easier to live that way than it used to be.
I think people are mistaking the decline in young people driving for a decline in the love for cars.

My point is, the passion is still there, and if anything, it's getting stronger. Look at how many young people you see sharing and talking about cars on social media for instance. People literally running after cars at events because they want to film and interact with them.

Honestly, sales will stay the same or decline over the next couple of years. Sadly, the new Mustang didn't get the takers that Ford projected. I go to a lot of car cruises with my 2024 GT. Three weeks ago, I attended a cruise in a small mill town. We had over 1500 cars on the streets. I counted 4 S650 Mustangs including mine. There were a lot of older Mustangs.
The price of the new GT is driving people away from the showroom. I see more people buying used clean low mile used muscle cars for 3/4 the price. The money isn't there for a new fun car. My S650 is probably my last fun car at my age.
The car business has changed folks!
