There should not be any interest paid on a customer special order. They would rather you buy a car that they may be paying interest on.
That is why the best deals are usually on in stocks units vs orders.
A special order that is actually a sale is a pdi and then lunch. If the customer sends the shop some pizzas in appreciation that leaves pure profit in relation to the actual expense incurred.

Do I believe mustang sales will ever get to the point where they used to where Ford was selling hundreds of thousands of them a year? No. Do I believe there could come a day when mustang and coupe sales in general start to rebound? Yes, but it's gonna take some time.

There will be a blip for a month or two and the it will go back to normal

a lot of shops will buy a newer model because they have to (Lund racing did for example), and all the people who were waiting to upgrade will also buy.

Hopefully it will pick up but I don't think it will because most people like to drive SUVs and pickup trucks and electric vehicles more than ever. Mustang is an entertainer and extra car but that's my opinion.
Yeah that sounds about right, but I'm hoping sales pick up.

Is the reason the convertibles don’t have the rear glass heritage reminder, because, when you are, you don’t need to reference?

i also get a chuckle when i hear the little 5.0 called a big v8
Lol it's a big V8 to everyone in 4 cylinder cars.

No sales are NOT going to pick up. Traditionally the first two years of a new model or refresh are the biggest sellers and that ship has sailed.
Man that sucks, I hope you're wrong in this instance though.

Not going to pick up........the amount of people who care about tuning is small compared to overall number of people who buy these cars..... these forums are a very small percentage of ownership when you look at the S650 owners active vs. the number of S650s sold.....

When you compare the CPI for things like housing and food relative to real personal income....the general population doesnt have the extra disposable income they once did.....

I still stand by the fact I think they made the car "too good" therefore driving the price too high ....If you look at Mustang prices historically compare to say BMW 3 series/ 4 series M3/M4 - the Mustang price has risen at a much faster pace....
Yup I agree with you on this, cant disagree with anything you said here.

Yup I agree, especially if the economy improves and gets better.

or "torquey"

like the 6.4 Dodge or 6.2 GM doesn't exist.
I had a 6.2L GM V8 and it's definitely more "Torquey" but this Ford 5.0L is special I love the way it revs out.
