Hi all,
I have set my driver profile but every time I start my car, all the settings (steering, exhaust, etc) are not where I had them when I turned the car off
I am able to set the drive mode on the left side of the steering wheel but again, I have to re-set every time I start the car
I have tried the seat memory button, thinking it would somehow keep the drive mode in it's memory.
I am the only driver of my car
Help!

Ok, thanks guys
Now that you mention it my other two German cars require me to manually find my sport or individual settings each time I start.

Does anyone have a similar problem with your cluster theme and colors. Every forth or fifth time I start the car it seems it will randomly default the gauge cluster colors back to orange, change the ambient light color and remove the cluster theme I had picked.
yes i have had it happen
i thought i was updates but i have had it happen when no apparent update went out
some speculate it may be from a low battery
but i dont think mine is low i put it on the charger once a month

This only happens to me when I apply a change in FORScan.

It's a couple of presses of the mode button to get in custom mode, I don't find that too onerous, and I hit the lane assist at the same time = nanny free.
You have to disable lane assist every time you start the car? Mine has stayed off since I switched it off 🤔

So I thought you could select Quiet Mode for start say you live in a condo complex
Yes, you can set a quiet mode schedule in the car settings menu, but this doesn’t affect driving mode selection, upon start-up it will always be in Normal (but with quiet exhaust).

Thanks. It’s obviousI merged the two choices together

I think that if you plan to rob a bank driving your Mustang, you will be in jail by the time you get the dash to come on and you adjust all the settings! Sometimes it's a joke!

This is almost always due to low battery. If I don’t drive my car for a week or even daily in the winter the car puts itself into battery protection mode. It drops to the default for all the system settings. Its super frustrating as I’ve never had another car that dropped settings so frequently or even at all.

As for the post question. I just setup my custom drive mode to have all the settings I prefer. So the steering, the throttle response, the screen, exhuast and colors are all tied to the custom profile. Two clicks up on the drive mode selector as soon as the car is on and all my settings are restored. I don’t have to wait for anything to boot up fully. Then I tie quiet mode to the star button so I can instantly silence the exhuast without playing around with menus or changing drive modes.

I do the same thing except I have Quiet Exhaust come on (basically) 24/7. Then I set the Star button to switch to my preferred loudness level. This way I can make the car loud when I want too.
Then when I get to a situation where I want it quiet again, I just push the Star button again.
