Hell yeah!

I was hesitant about using the more sporty modes during break-in, but I’m comfortable with using them now.

Track Mode is by far my favorite now, but will still use Normal as my Custom profile because it’s smoother overall when I feel like it.

You guys have given me so much great feedback, I’m glad I started it. Just wish I noticed the Poll feature before posting it.

Normal will deliver you power, you just have to push the pedal down harder but it will GO!! 👍

Oh yeah, the power is there in any mode, but in Track Mode I don’t have to mash the pedal aggressively like in Normal to get the gears to wind out more.

Plus Track Mode has that super-cool downshifting when braking. Just a lot of great theater there.

Normal Mode is a great all around setting but it’s focus is on best mileage and smoothest ride.

That said, I like both settings equally. They just serve different purposes.

Yep, track mode is the shiznit!
I am in track mode almost all the time, and I feel the difference in engine response and shift points is what I expect from a sports car. Locally, downshifting one or two gears eliminates any lag. On the highway, downshifting one gear is more than enough to get it done!

Concerning the hp. It doesn't matter where you measure the horsepower. In track mode, you have more than enough power to ruin your day. Just ask the many Stang owners that didn't make it home in one piece the day they picked up their cars but did make it on YouTube! Nuff said! Glenn

It doesn’t matter what mode the car is in. It has a lot of power. Anyone that doesn’t think that is delusional to themselves.

Yesterday I drove in Track Mode, was fun, but when I stopped at the store and restarted it, it made a clunk and made an attempt to lurch forward slightly. (Em. Brake was ON)….and then my gauge colors reset to default. It was unsettling.

Research on posts showed it’s diagnosed as leftover pressure built up somewhere in the drivetrain and won’t do it when cold. It never did this before. So did driving in Track Mode Change things?

Never heard of a car doing this, so I am going to see what it does on a cold start, and then see if it does it again after driving easier in Normal mode.
To me it seems the car likes to settle in to one mode, and when you change something it goes haywire.

I started the car today, no clunk, all was normal. I drove it in Normal Mode, and even though I downshifted a bit with throttle and paddles, it behaved fine. I restarted it warm, and all was fine.

Something about driving in Track mode and the downshift braking must have created pressure in the transmission. What that means, I don’t know, but I have read several explanations citing that as the cause.

So I guess my favorite driving mode is back to Normal with Track Exhaust. at least I don’t get any surprises when I restart.

I have a theory that this car does not like to switch modes often. I mean, it’s all computer shit, and ever run a program on a laptop, and then switch to another program, then to another? The thing starts to bog down and shit don’t work right until you reboot. Why should this car be any different?

Its not switching the mode, its the shifting within the mode. Lots of shifting increases temperature. Temperature builds up pressure. Next time switch the car back to normal or let cool a bit before shutting it off.

As much as I like track mode, I dont use it much for street because it's hard(er) on the tranny in traffic.
