Customer GTD at dealership!

We got one yesterday, the buyer is a neighbor to one of our sales managers. It came on a special transport with two Ford delivery gurus. We had a little party surrounding it and people came from all over, as there will not likely be another one in our area. We get to keep it roped off on the showrom for a few days. I love everything about the car except the shopping cart handle rear wing. I know it serves a purpose, but it looks tacked on and ricey to me.

Yeah, its the same "shift knob" that is in every other thing we sell... I was surprised (maybe I should not have been) by how much off the shelf stuff was in the interior.

There’s very little in the interior that belongs in a $400,000+ car, IMO.

On these, Ford set the price, not us. There was no PDI or anything. Probably $30K of that was sales tax.
It was my understanding that you agree to lease these from Ford with a payment in full up front. At the end of two years, you get the title. They are tryng to avoid what happened with the GT's and people wanting to flip them. The sales manager who is his neighbor told me has an offer at $1.2M if he sells it now. These cars will probably change hands multiple time and never get titled.
