Nah, this was something funky with the shifting hydraulics not working in sync with the ECU programming. Its almost like the timing was off on the throttle blip vs the gear position, or sometimes it just wouldn't blip enough because it was confused? Hard to say, but I experienced it on a few SMG's with higher miles. I suspect it all traces back to the transmission hydraulics in one form or another.Does this imply the rev-match function will eventually wear out?
Revmatch on modern manuals simply calculate the engine speed based on wheel speed and gear position. way more accurate.
