Have you by chance had any issues with Forscan and warranty repairs at the dealer? I assume it’s no issue but I would hate if they denied me coverage for something silly.

I’m going to enable the shift indicator in a few minutes as well. Frost telltale isn’t probably very useful for me so I won’t bother.
i havent had any issues

When all the dust settled, did anyone improve the B&O sound system using Forscan? I'm not impressed with sound. Understand hardware is a limiter.

Hey @roket , I did the performance shift indicator in forscan. Like you said, IPC and APIM, shift indicators. The ones that said “upshift” and “downshift” for manual only I obviously didn’t touch, and now it’s on my screen, but when I go to use it, it says feature is unavailable, any help?

looks like you did not enable the correct stuff in the IPC. try doing it the standard way through the as-built data. in the IPC page of the spreadsheet, activate the two entries that respond to the search "performance shift"

Honestly, there’s so many things in there and it’s very rough to see which number it is that needs to be changed. I’m sure I can figure it out but, if you have a chance, provide screenshots of your APIM and IPC that you changed for it. I looked it up in IPC And there’s 3 options. “Shift indicator, upshift indicator (MANUAL ONLY), downshift indicator (MANUAL ONLY)”. I changed the ones that don’t say manual only. Unless I was supposed to do them all, not sure.

Can I enable WAL in my mustang now with .64 forscan update? I have a job 1 car and I guess my BCM isn't updated.

Looking for some help on the Continuous Gear Display option on my base EcoBoost (101A).

Added a steering wheel with paddle shifters since mine did not have them from the factory. Was able to turn on "Select Shift" and get the paddles working (L mode now does not highlight when selected, and it behaves like M mode would), but have not been able to get the continuous gear display working.

Interestingly enough, when I went to edit the IPC Module my As-Built already had CGD "Enabled," but nothing is showing on the dash. I tried disabling and then enabling in "easy mode," and have likewise tried editing the HEX value back and forth from C to E. Neither process is working. Any suggestions?

For those of you who enabled WAL and had to on for a while: how do you like it? I can see it being quite nice in most situations but it might also get annoying at times. Do you fully rely on it or do you manually hit the lock button on the FOB anyway?

Ever since I added it with the feedback, I never really lock it manually. It’s a great feature.

It's great. I just ... walk away and let it lock itself.

When I park @ work, I back into the spot right by the front doors (glass). As I walk away, I look @ the glass front doors as I'm walking and can see the taillights flash to let me know WAL locked the doors (I do NOT have the audible alert on).

This was just added to the common tab of the spreadsheet. All credit goes to Livnitup for the changes needed. I also would like to thank @roadpilot for being the guinea pig to test this out.

Edit: As noted in the spreadsheet, this will only work on job 2 Mustangs; job 1 cars will need to have the BCM updated. As far as I know, the BCM updated has not been sent to any Mustang yet via the OTA process even though every VIN I have checked shows a BCM update pending on the server for these vehicles. I am not sure what the cut-off date for job 1 and job 2 cars are. If you have any doubts about whether this will work on your car or not, feel free to message me your VIN and I can check for you. The BCM must be at software level NU5T-14C184-AAT (or higher) for this to work.
Hey, is it still true with latest FORscan release? @rugedraw @roadpilot do you need bcm update?
