Seems ford is in no rush to reveal performance numbers for all variants including Dark Horse. Also no date yet on when media outlets will get to test it out.

Hoping to see these well before my DH with handling gets built next month.

Anyone heard any whispers? I’m hoping for a sub 4 second 0 to 60 with a10, might be wishful thinking tho.

I'm thinking 3.9 for the Dark Horse on a prepped surface. It's still RWD and it still won't be able to put the power down without copious amounts of wheel spin.

I'm waiting to see how it compares against the "lowly" M240i xDrive. (3.7 0-60 and 11.98 1/4 mile).

I’m expecting 11.5s bone stock on a tire for 10r80 cars..DH probably a tad slower due to extra weight/aero.

0-60s on RWD are basically a tire test, but I'd bet 3.9s. I'm excited to see what ford's power packs can do with the DH's internals and the dual airflow

0-60mph is 0.1 or 0.2 faster than 0-100 km/h. Since we haven't heard from any meaningful improvements I would expect the car to deliver a solid 4.2 or 4.1 0-100 km/h.

Traction is what makes many other cars so much faster and a rwd car only has so many of it...

Doesn't the Mustang have an acceleration timer built into the electronics on the dash so you can time yourself?

3.7 seconds at 0 - 60 MPH at 11.8 second in the quarter mile.
Doesn't the GT350 R do 0 - 60 MPH in 3.9 seconds? How would either the GT or the Dark Horse which both have less horsepower do it any faster?

The A10 GT and Dark Horse will most likely be quicker than the GT350 6 speed to 60 and through the quarter. The GT350 is known for being a little tricky to launch, but that high rpm FPC engine really shines on a road course. I do expect the DH handling pack + fiber wheels to hang with it depending on the course.

My bro had a 350R for a few years… I assure you.., they are slower than molasses in January.

They look amazing, sound awesome, rev all day long… and are slow.. 10r80 will slap it around for sure.

The current GT with the A10 is a 3.9/12.0 car all day on street tires.

I would expect the new GT to run a 3.8 and a 11.8 or so on street tires. Possibly better...

Yes, but sometimes they can be thrown off a little by various things like wheelspin. Not as accurate as an actual drag strip timer either, but still fun to use and pretty close.

If you look at a dyno of the 5.0 and the 5.2 you will 100% see why. The 350 doesn't even hit 350 WHP until 5K RPM. Hits 350ftlbs at 3.5K RPMs. 0-60 is not what that thing was made for at all.

Considering the 2018s advertised a sub 4 second 0-60, and this car has more power, I think it should do quite well. I'm predicting a 3.8-3.9 on a prepped surface.
