The Ford service rep said the Ford engineers said it was the angle. They didn’t say it was the diameter/revolutions per minute set in the PCM. Also didn’t offer changing that setting in the PCM as a solution. I think the angle info is probably set by the factory for the individual Mustang models/setups (my speculation).I don't think that is it... stock cars with square setup have same size tires front and rear (no angle)... yet the GT PP has much taller rear tires (0.7") and no problem with radar angle. My car is 0.8" difference, no problem.
Has anyone with this "bad angle" issue actually tried setting the proper rear tire size in the PCM? That is the more likely issue...
Could be wrong. It’s possible that it’s the tire diameter setting in the PCM. I, too, would be interested if any DH owners had this problem & solved it by changing the setting.
