We are looking to go with a wider wheel setup for my wife's 24 gt performance pack car with a stage 2 Whipple. Hard to find picks of these Chrome GTD wheels on vehicles. What's everyone's opinion on how they will look? The car is lowered, and we are going with 19x10 on the front and 19x11 on the rear.

I think they would look good, I think a grey or graphite would accent the stripe. I’m not a chrome person so I went with LMR DHP1 19x10/11 gloss graphite. I also have a 24 performance pack but a stage 1, lowered on BMR Handling springs. I went with the 325s for the rear tire. Good luck on your choice.

Are you looking to look good or be safe?

You are adding power, are the wheels going to take that power without breaking?

SFI 15.1 certified?

We do not plan to drag the car, just a little spirited driving. I will say we fall into the "way more power than we will use" category. Your definitely making me think about it differently and I need to do some more research.

Stage2 Whipple is a lot to never drag the car and engage in "a little spirited driving." 🤣

Imagine telling somebody in 1972 . . . wait, let's examine what the "5.0" could do back then . . . The same size engine in the Mustang, 302, produced 140 horsepower in 1972. Wow, I got a V8! You could upgrade to the 351 with 177, 266, or 275 horsepower <-- the top dog in 1972. I am sure that buyers thought they were "fast."

Imagine telling somebody in 1972 that in the future you can buy a Mustang off the showroom floor with 480, 486, or 500 horsepower (or a 4 cylinder with 315 horsepower!).

But, oh, to engage in some spirited driving we need 875 horsepower!

Car technology has definitely come a long way.

Be careful with all of that horsepower out on the street, please.

Chrome is a little bright for me. Here's pics of my white S550 with charcoal gray and "titanium" wheels. I like your color scheme. :) Did you add the stripes?
