Thank you, she likes them. We were really leaning towards chrome. But decided on these. Not sure the upkeep will be any easier though lol. Getting them ceramic coated within the week.
Ended up going with the 275/35R19 pilot sport 4s in the front and 305/35R19 Pilot Super Sport in the rear. We tried the 315/30R19 4s in the rear. And it wasnt terrible but this set up just was better. Wish they made the 4s in that size. Oh and went with the Anthracite AR Stampede wheels.
Its my wife's, really just cruising but id like to get on it occasionally. Stage 2 whipple so I want it to be safe. Its actually been fine with the stock 275/40r19s. But we baby it.
My Shelby has 275/35R20 fronts and 305/30R20 rears. So rearshave less sidewall. This was recommended from Shelby American. It did take me a minute to get used too.
So they dont make the 4s in a 305/35R19. Discount instead ordered that size in the Super Sport instead. My 275/35R19 on the front are brand new. So it looks like 315/30R19 in the 4s is the better choice considering the 4s is the superior tire from everything ive read. They are ordering...
So I decided to go with the Stampede wheels on our 24 GT performance pack car. It does have ford racing springs.
The wheels are 19x10 and 19x11.
I have 275/35R19 Pilot sport 4S on the front. Should I go with 305/35R19 Pilot super sport on the rear or 315/30R19 Pilot sport 4s on the rear?
24 GT Premium performance package.
Added Borla Stype cat back with quad tips, DH rear valance, stainless power long tube headers, ford racing springs, Whipple stage 2 with whipple crusher open air boxes, dual upr catch cans. New wider wheels are next. Swapped the Pzero for Sport cup 4s.
The MHP1 is sharp as well. The gloss graphite is nice, wish was just a little lighter shade of gray. Looks like the Mach 1 wheel. Ive seen another white S650 with the silver GTD style wheels and it looks really good as well.
I dont disagree with any of that. Ive been trying to find something close to the silver of the stripes. The MHP1 is nice but it comes in graphite so its a little darker. I have chrome on my Shelby and it looks nice but it is Vapor silver.
I think i followed all of that. And thank you, yes we are very careful. The great thing about it is that its a great daily driver lol. Its a nice change of pace from my Shelby. Kind of nice to hop in an automatic once in a while.
Both look nice, ive tried to find something to match the silver. The MHP1 is nice just wish they were a little lighter silver. The stripes were on it already. It is the color combo we were looking for though. Actually more like yours. But we saw this with the black pins on the outside...
We do not plan to drag the car, just a little spirited driving. I will say we fall into the "way more power than we will use" category. Your definitely making me think about it differently and I need to do some more research.
We are looking to go with a wider wheel setup for my wife's 24 gt performance pack car with a stage 2 Whipple. Hard to find picks of these Chrome GTD wheels on vehicles. What's everyone's opinion on how they will look? The car is lowered, and we are going with 19x10 on the front and 19x11...
Thanks, yes we both wanted it. She is coming from a 15 GT Premium, and a 99 GT convertible before that. Brenspeed in Indiana did the work and the tune. I do believe it is the Whipple tune.
The only thing this car didnt have was the active exhaust. Makes no sense to have every option but that lol. Had to do something it was too quiet. Honestly would have found one with active exhaust if I had to do it over again.
