I saw that for 2026 a lot of content was removed. I noticing some things on the website in the description of the 401A that don’t align with the reports. Mainly, heated side mirrors with puddle, lights, and aluminum pedals. Can anyone with a job 2 build with that option confirm if those were added back in? Thanks!

My understanding is some of that content was removed from the 400A and now requires the 401A package to get it.

@jmatero ..... I agree with your list. I traded my 2024 GT 401A for a 2026 GT 401A which was built this February 24th. The only difference (deletion) on my 2026 was no lighted Mustang sill plates and no charging plate in the front console. So, your list was what I got with my 2026 401A package.

That isn't included in any package. My dealership found a used one off of an S550 for $60 (mint condition), and installed it in 5 minutes. From Ford parts new they're like $550
It was. I have it.

Must be a Canada/Europe thing
Nope, it was on the 2024 401A package job 2. After that they started to delete features on the Mustang. I'm lucky that I have the one with all the options.

From the research I’ve done moving from a 24 to a 25 401a lost the leather looking stitched knee plates, replaced with hard plastic and the phone wireless charging plate under the engine start area. Moving from a 25 to a 26 has the extra security features moved out to a separate option code.

This is correct.
