My recommendation: don't bother with anything but Valentine. Decades-long user here, and it's saved me many times. The high performance, the quality construction & longevity, the arrows, the intuitive operation. Their current Gen 2 model is a very nice upgrade. I suggest matching it with a...
I agree with this. I've found that with a brand new car, apply the first coat of NuFinish, then wait a couple weeks or so and do a second coat. The second application goes on and off so much easier, and the shine is multiplied greatly. Then, going forward, to maintain your coating just re-do...
Gotta sing the praises of one of those products which is basic, and ubiquitous, but excellent: NuFinish. I've been using it for 25+ years. Easy to apply, easy to remove, and it provides a tough, high-gloss finish which is long lasting.
Some enthusiasts will scoff at NuFinish, because it’s...
Sorry to bring up a potentially "already answered" question -- but are you referring to the 18" x 8" base wheels? (not 19" wheels)
I'm thinking of pursuing a set of the Eco 18" wheels like these for my GT:
Thanks again!!
@MAT1955 : Thanks for posting this for us.
Did you make the panels light up, or just replace them for better general appearance and not bother wiring them up?
I, too, am a little disappointed by the plain entry sills -- especially when compared to the look of prior model years.
Thanks!
Hi Guys, I am greatly enjoying my new GT Premium which I've owned for about 6 weeks / 2,000 miles so far. GREAT CAR!
Thinking ahead a bit towards winter. I'm keeping alert for potentially scooping up some takeoff wheels (maybe even from an S550) in order to put on some dedicated winter tires...
Thanks guys, I appreciate it -- this all seems to make sense. Glad this apparently wasn’t as dumb a question as I thought it might be.
So -- to clarify and confirm -- it appears I could order a "non-Brembo package” spare kit, since the 4-piston Brembo caliper is standard equipment, and the...
So I'll go on record posing what might turn out to be a really dumb question.
I'd like to add a spare tire kit -- and when choosing one, it matters whether you have the "Brembo Brake Package".
Well, what I do have is:
2026 GT Premium 401A -- USA spec
19" wheels (Bronze Appearance Package)
No...
Well done, sir! That's an amazing photo. And thanks for all the advice. From you -- and from everyone. It's practical and actionable. I appreciate it -- keep it comin' !! Cheers 🍻
I appreciate the advice guys, keep it comin' !! And I should have stated up front, I am using an iPhone versus an SLR camera . . . which I'm sure is part of the problem. 🤓
That's a great video. Much better than the first one. It's impressive how they synched the video from each car's lap to show how they compared through every phase of the track, using a consistent, legit pro driver (Randy Pobst) across all 3 cars, and under much tighter controlled testing...
I’m floundering around with how hard it is to take decent pictures of a black car.
The car looks phenomenal in-person. Its contours and shapes are captivating and compelling. But in photos, all the details seem to “moosh” together, and get lost in a big blob of black. Suggestions / hints...
I did this also to cover up those ugly airbag stickers -- but, I just used a sheet of black sticky-backed felt from the craft store, cut to size. Looks great, easy to do, and its soft texture blends perfectly with the visor fabric. 😎
