Someone else on the forum put it best - for the first two years of the S550 GT500's existence, dealers were marking up the cars to the point they costed about this much. Even now, used examples aren't far off this number.Yeah, it's a cool $100k car. That price is out of the Mustang's league.
Ford has long since realized someone is going to pay that number, and they're trying to cash out on it. I don't necessarily agree with the price, but if someone threw you a bag full of money, would you reject it?
Best case scenario, nobody buys, a la 2024/5 Dark Horse, Ford and dealerships take note, and it becomes available under AZXD or discounts start appearing.
