Because THEIR NOT ... Why would they pollute the "GTD version" by making another version in other models - of the same edition, would just be dumb, So ....I remember reading about the GTD Spirit of America, but I did not know they were making a Darkhorse Spirit of America
Where have you been? Itās not like they havenāt done it before-Because THEIR NOT ... Why would they pollute the "GTD version" by making another version in other models - of the same edition, would just be dumb, So ....
Why didn't Ford ever stick a 351 in the Maverick? It is physically the same size as the 302 that they did use, and was used in a number of other cars during the 70-77 period that the Maverick was produced.Where have you been? Itās not like they havenāt done it before-![]()
They are physically NOT the same size. The 302 has an 8.2ā deck height and a 351W has either a 9.4 or 9.5 deck height depending on year built. Why didn't Ford ever stick a 351 in the Maverick? Pretty much every non-factory engine swap requires mods to fit.Ah! I did not know that.
Does it not fit in a Maverick, then? EDIT: Google says it requires mods to fit.
OK, back to our usual programming.
