Hey everyone,
I’ve been running into a weird issue with my 2024 Mustang Dark Horse (Handling Pack, 10-speed auto, 3.55 rear ratio) and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
When I’m doing roll races or digs with Track Mode and traction control fully off, the car sometimes cuts all power right as it shifts into 3rd gear. It feels like a complete throttle/fuel cut for a split second before coming back.
Scenarios where it happens:
1st-gear dig, Track Mode, TC off: Pulls hard through 1st → 2nd, but right as it goes into 3rd, the car cuts out briefly.
I tried a brake-torque dig where I let the tires spin/burn all the way through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and the car never cut power. It roasted rubber all the way through without intervention.
could it be the tired I have and maybe needs to be warmed up ?

- 30 roll in 2nd gear, Track Mode, TC off: Same deal — pulls fine in 2nd, then cuts as soon as 3rd engages.
