What valve stem issue. I can't find any thing documenting a valve stem issue? Do you have the source that I could share with my dealer to help my claim?
Back in the early manufacturing days, there was a period of 3 days where a supposed 11 vehicles were affected, but there could have been more. It was from January 30th - February 1st. Ford launched a harvesting program, labeled 24H01. It was never actually diagnosed as a valve seal issue, but it was something to do with the left head. Ford issued these notices to the owners of the vehicles that may have had the issue. The left head was pulled off and the engines were studied. Here is the link of the program.

Nothing out of the norm. About 1 quart per oil change
OK, that's not excessive, but it is more than mine uses. Type of driving conditions could account for that.
Having said that, it does sound like a valve guide seal issue, which isn't usually a head off matter.

Gen 1 Coyotes had compaints of excessive oil consumption. If I remember Ford has always had a very loose spec on oil usage before they would do any warrany work going back years. Ford has had loose specs on things like A/C output, tie rods, brake runout and differential noise among other things. It does vary year to year and model.

A lot of times the dealership will say 1 quart per 1,000 or 2,000 miles is 'normal'
