The local Ford dealers here in Phoenix do not want to fix it. They just follow their service manual which is an oil consumption test and mine is normal.
Who's the dealer? Have you taken it to Sanderson Ford?

Per Ford it is. They actually say 1 quart per 3k miles and it's documented in their literature as normal.
Oh god. What a crock of shit. You are getting the run around. Who's the dealer if you say Peoria Ford, run away as fast as you can.

There is no way supposed to be burning a full quart of oil per 3000 miles. That cant be accurate its gotta be a typo or something. Think about that for a min. For every 3 or hell even 5 thousand miles you will have burned 1 full quart of oil, in a perfectly normal new motor?? Dude that is alot of oil! Maybe on an old 200,000 mile clunker yes I can see that. Am I crazy ? That just sounds way off to me!?

Does yours look like mine?
Maybe it's the video, but that looks like normal moisture to me. Are you burning oil?

No you aren't crazy. Burning 1 quart every 3k miles is absolutely not normal. I want to see the Ford text that says that, and I want to know who this dealer is.

Yes, he's burning oil. Read posts above.

I think so too, just wanted a second opinion since my build date was of 05/24, which was the timeframe for the valve seal issue. The car doesn’t appear to burn any oil

What valve stem issue. I can't find any thing documenting a valve stem issue? Do you have the source that I could share with my dealer to help my claim?
