I find it odd that nobody has posted a GT or Dark Horse video before and after comparison of ESE and no ESE.
If you see how I described the difference in that other thread, it would be very subtle on a video without some seriously good sound recording equipment, the difference in person is more noticeable. The sound is just more real and raw, less purr and refinement than the fake sound has.

Ahhh ok. So I can do so in Forscan, and not having warranty voided? I did not know that!
I went through the thread linked by Dark Sprite here. Looks straight forward. Are you sure I can make changes in Forscan not voiding warranty? Then I go ahead and cannot wait to kill that ESE. So ANC can be left alone?
Enable remote rev whilst you’re at it 😜 I think it’s disabled by default in EU models but it’s easy to code in FORScan.

Of the 12, really 10 speakers on a B&O system does the muffler sound play through? All? Rear parcel shelf? Sub? Or a combo so intricate it can't be described?

It's not odd.

1. It's a setting that not many people turn off
2. Not all the people that turn them off are active forum / social media people
3. Not all active forum / social media people make video's, many just read and write.
4. Not all people that turn them off and who are active forum / social media people have professional equipment to record a specific sound coming from a driving V8 engine vehicle to seperate two different sounds that our ears can hear.

It's like a funnel.

Oh. We in EU have no physical button on the key fob. Just the remote start through the Ford app. Than I would do also ASS default to off and Lane Assist default to off. Oh, and speed limit warning to off by default. That will make my life so much easier and happier.

Ok. The issue I opened this topic for is as follows. I discovered the beauty of quiet exhaust mode and the ability to hear the real engine and transmission 10r80 cooperation with the v8. After nearly 1 year of ownership I lived in dream, influenced by speakers inside the cabin, I discovered the real beauty of the reality. That is being discussed….

No remote start button 🤯 But I don’t think you need it to use remote rev, as that is a combo of lock/unlock presses (although of course the engine needs to be on already for it to work).

I haven’t found how to turn off speed limit warning yet, if you do please report back. It’s set at 120km/h but highway speed limits here are 140km/h and 160km/h.

I don't understand what is being discussed here. Could someone please explain? Thank.

Well, we do not have the remote start button on the key fob. That is more accurate. Anyway, the speed limiter chime has to go. Here in Czech, it ding dongs all the time, as there is 1,5 millions of speed limit signs leftover after road constructions and the speed limit recognition system seems to be very dumb in understanding that once you pass over road turn, by the end of the junction all the speed limit defaults to the general limit speed whether it is 50 in town, 90km out of town etc. so you are driving within limits and got the 30km ding dong all the way through out …

In regards of the noise cancelation and exhaust sound through speakers, before I will order the OBD and laptop, I will pull out the sound system fuse just to make sure, I am on the right track. I believe the fuse out will make my day, and therefore will move forward to accomplish that huge fake I would call scam on driver… Hallucination, hype whatever you want to call it. I am sorry to others, I am just not used to those kind of crap playing me around…

It is in all S650 with the B&O sound system from what I understand. It can be disabled with Forscan without needing to kill active exhaust or disconnect the subwoofer.
If you have the B&O sound system (I don't believe lessor systems have it) it has active noise cancelling. The microphones are in the rear of the head liner. They can be unplugged or delete their use by using Forscan®. Do a search here on active sound.
Tragically the convertible doesn’t get the active noise cancellation. But I can say with 100% certainty that the active exhaust makes a profound difference. With the top down on the freeway the speaker sys is barely audible but the difference in exhaust note from quiet to loud is night and day.

Personally I only use quiet mode in the early morning as I leave for work. The rest of the time I am in track mode.
From the order guide: all fastback ECO/GT models have ESE, all ECO convertibles get ANC... sound system does not appear to matter.

As others have said, disable ESE... it may or may not affect warranty... IF they detect it.

Sadly, these systems are not just on Mustangs... many cars by many manufacturers use the ESE and ANC type sound systems. ANC can be nice (my Cadillac has it) for a quiet ride, but the sound enhancement is almost like a subliminal "warm fuzzy" to make you buy the car... making a boring car sound better?!

If my convertible has ANC then it is the least effective noise cancellation I’ve ever experienced.

Does not appear to be on the GT... just the ECO...

I do not think the ANC is the problem in general unless you have too sensitive hearing….
However the ESE has no way of living in my car. For those like me, with no experience, once you discover it by realizing and recognizing the scam through speakers, you start to feel like I you are cheated. And you know from that point, it is not the car you are listening to….

OP do you mean you like the quiet exhaust mode the mode that changes how the exhaust sounds outside the cabin or do you mean the noises you hear inside the cabin of your vehicle? Im bit confused on what your trying to achieve. Because the ESE sounds are not that noticeable if at all.

I appreciate your comment and do not want to argue with you. However I disagree what you said. ESE is very noticeable. The quiet mode just shows you the patch of reality. Of course, you turn on the exhaust on or install aftermarket exhaust to make up the sound, and that is real but the ESE is not real and so clear to notice once you realize it.

It is the quiet mode make you realize the other modes are spiced up through B&O, which makes you detached from the reality.

I would say I pause this conversation until my next drive with the sound system completely disconnected to proof my point.
