What I did do, is disable EQ:
727-01-02 xxx*, change * to 0

Disable ENC/ANC
727-01-01 xxxx xxxx **xx, change ** to 0
Was looking this over last night. My build currently shows : 727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 1xxxx.
Need to change to : 727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 0xxxx.

The EQ setting yall mentioned my build currently shows : 727-01-02 8900 2011 00EB.
Since it's already set at "0" I'm assuming there is nothing else to change here???

And for some clarity on changing/disabling the EQ...there will no longer be any treble/mid/bass adjustment capability on the dash? The only adjustment/control will be volume?

Nothing more to change in the EQ line, correct.

Normal EQ sliders are still available and functional.
That specific "feature", if turned on, works in the background after whatever you set the manual bass EQ values at.

Just for discussion purposes...looking at the ACM 727-01-02 section on the Forscan spreadsheet shows :

727-01-02xxxxxx**xx--A2B Slave Config 1 (ABSC)

If you look up "2024 mustang gt EQS Flat EQ" on Google, it says:

Here is how to achieve a flat EQ or change the default EQS setting:

1. Using FORScan (Recommended for "True" Flat)
Using FORScan (a Ford-specific scanning software) allows you to alter the ACM (Audio Control Module) to remove the factory-set EQ curve.

  • Module: ACM (Audio Control Module)
  • Location: 727-01-02
  • Modification: Change the value to xxxx, xx00, xxxx (where 00 represents EQS Flat EQ).

Thoughts? Could this have something to do with the build date? I've seen some earlier production '24s have some differences from later builds.

I have a 2026, and it's very possible that older model years have slightly different settings.

Copy that. My build date was July 2023.

Never use AI when it comes to Forscan lines. Almost everything is incorrect.

Good call. I had some really strange AI recommendations also.

Oh man. Last year I had to convert my NA car to EU and had lots of Asbuilt data from Canada, US, GCC, EU, manual/automatic and had to compare every single line on all modules. At yhe beginning I started to use AI but I learned very quick that it is just bullshitting when it doesn't know the correct answer. For some reason AI can't tell you that they don't know. When they don't know something they use information from something similar or complete something different, just to give you an answer.

The following is not meant to sound rude :)

1) This topic is about ESE, and turning it off is described and simple

2) EQ-flat has also been described and is simple

3) A2B is a different subject

You might want to put that flat EQ subject in a separate thread, maybe there is one existing, or to the Forscan list thread.
But I agree to what GrabThatBlue wrote: don't bother what AI gives you back.
You have all your answers to achieve what you want, so just do it.
Don't spread confusion coming from AI

Just tried to help Nolasalt since disabling EQ and ESE should be done together in my opinion.

Right and all good, and all answers were given and now because he not just made the changes, he asked AI which brought up just another subject.
And that's why I now just mentioned that we could consider a simple back to the original topic.
That's all
