Not yet, but you never know!I have met them - at the track as a matter of fact. Funny thing is, they brought the cars you mentioned, not some $200K SA Mustang.
For as much criticism as they receive, they sell out of their allocations year in and year out. So I believe you’re correctWell then I guess you’ve never met a GTD, Porsche GT2/3, or ZR1 owner. Or anyone that tracks their $200k+ toy. For these folks money is not an impediment. They’ve got the bucks and I’m sure there are enough of them to keep Shelby in business.
There is a difference between a track car made for the track and a car advertised as being for the track ;)Well then I guess you’ve never met a GTD, Porsche GT2/3, or ZR1 owner. I honestly hope SA does well, but I’m not holding my breath that I’ll ever see one at a track day.Not yet, but you never know!![]()
Agreed. But we will have to wait until someone gets the Shelby and tracks it. It could be a total failure or a remarkable track weapon. There is a difference between a track car made for the track and a car advertised as being for the track ;)
Eh Multimatic is like a modern day Kar Kraft. Ironically they were developing cars when Shelby branded stuff became stickers and body changes as well.Yep. This is why I've said Ford's smart for ditching Shelby for Multimatic. Your options are a company that does the most basic half-assed shit, or the world leaders for the most innovative and badass performance cars. Ford made the right call.
I view Multimatic as the modern version of what Shelby was in the 60s. A company that played a pivot role in Ford's performance and race car programs that was on the cutting edge of innovation for their time.Eh Multimatic is like a modern day Kar Kraft. After thinking about it, with Ford Racing developing cars we should just get the SVT branding back. Gives a nod to the past while still being modern.
