This is coming across to me as a PR stunt to promote their return to Trans Am racing. The three cars (Super Snake vs this GT350/R) don't really seem all that different.

Honestly, this to me is just confirmation that whatever comes from Ford next isn't going to have a Shelby badge on it.

Agreed- Im not sure why they dont make it an option on the Super Snake - one thing I do know.....50K mark ups inbound

Insane blue balls for everyone who was hyped for this, but at the same time, not surprising at all. Ford couldn't let this car upstage the Dark Horse, which they claim as the track ready car. So the only way to differentiate it is to add the whipple on it and some suspension tweaks. Oh, and also jack up the price. Insanely disappointed they didn't stick an updated voodoo in it.

The whipple option will probably add significant cost as well. They don't mention the GT350R pricing, but i'd imagine it's sky high

I believe that is the NA model, unless I'm missing something. GT350, not GT350R

apologies, "my dude". it sucks that Shelby didn't put a voodoo engine in this to replace the coyote. But from the press release and the product pages, they are releasing this as an inferior version to the super snake, which has the exact same motor and supercharger on it. so it sucks that there really isn't that much differentiation between these two products, just suspension changes YMMV

110k is for the non R supercharged version - which means the non supercharged version is probably around 85ish

Looks awesome, over in 6g the joke is… “the gt350 finally gets a reliable engine “

I always said the s550 350s would’ve been better with the 10R80… now they get all of that and supercharged!

Purists should love it, as it’s the original Shelby way!
