This is good information and what i am aiming for. I overdid it on the last one. Your setup is perfect
Thank you and I agree it looks killer especially in person this is exactly why I posted. I wanted to help others. I went back and forth with what to pick etc. This clears a lot of stuff up. If I can help with any other photos, videos, or insight let me know.

Can I ask what the sizes are for the wheels and tires. It looks like a 305 rear would get you a little too much poke. I was set on 275/19 front and 305/19 rear but your 285s look perfect.

So it’s 285 all around and the wheels are 10 inches. Yeah I agree. I toyed with the idea of 285 in the front and 305 in the rear. But this was cheaper and I can rotate them. It also has a full look in the front and rear not to much but just right.

I had it lowered a week after the wheels were installed

Glad I’m not the only one. That’s a good looking convertible. Love those wheels.

@gright99 I have never been a fan of black wheels but your choice is perfect on your stang. The finish and style are great.

With the level of lowering you got with the FP track springs, were the camber plates and alignment kit necessary? Would you have been VERY out of spec without the alignment parts? What did you use for bumpstops? Cut stock?

I went back and forth with camber plates even bought them and asked the shop their opinion. They 100% recommended them. Bumpstops? I never once looked into them not really sure what those are even for. All the research I did never mentioned them.

It’s generally advised to trim the bump stops or install shorter ones when lowering. They stop the shock from compressing when you get to a set point; lowering the car without trimming the bump stop results in a shorter compression stroke before hitting the bump stop.

Wasn’t aware of this. I’ll ask when I go to the suspension shop this week.
