Keep me updated. Luckily for me I got to make an appointment then show up and leave it. I seriously think mine was a loose coolant cap. I hope all goes well.
Thank you very much. They are 19x10’s 285/35/19. The alignment kit from Steeda is definitely needed. Camber plates due to the minimal drop of 1inch is personally up to you. I opted to get them because I’d rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. The shop you choose...
Never seen my CHT that high. But I have definitely had my trans temp at 230 and my oil temp at like 265. Normal driving drops them pretty quickly. Synthetic oil provides good protection.
In the engine bay? Or your tailpipes? How does your oil analysis look? How does your cap fit? If you have photos for your advisor that’s awesome I was able to explain everything to her and show photos of what I was experiencing.
And you were exactly right sir they found nothing wrong. Well, nothing wrong mechanically my coolant cap was loose so they replaced it. I felt the new one and it barely budges so this entire time my coolant loss could have been due to my cap I don’t know. They did pressure tests letting it sit...
Shout out to Frank a 7mm socket and two minutes later I have the part installed and it fits great. Nothing against the other kit definitely more involved but both are solid. Thanks again Frank.
That’s the plan but for everybody else that’s also wondering I’ll bite the bullet. When I did explain to my service advisor who I always work with she did think it was odd as well.
Considering dropping it off earlier as they offered to take it in if they get an open spot. 2 weeks? Now I don’t feel bad for letting mine sit 9 days.
I will definitely report back. The voice in my head says if I was actually losing any it wouldn’t be near max after running it but the other voice says it should be over the max line because that’s where it was initially filled to minus the air pockets etc. I was also told there is a small hole...
Another update. Ran the car did some pulls and parked it checked the coolant level and it was near max which is from running the car. Waited 3 hrs checked again and it declined some more which is expected. There has to be something that explains what’s going on. If I filled it cold months ago it...
Small update for the thread. After speaking with @MustangNoob and learning of him having the same issue and his dealer finding leaks that ended up causing him to get a new motor I have scheduled an appointment in February with my dealer. As of this morning I’m back at the minimum line I started...
All is well he apologized on the rear springs and mentioned my subframe with the irs alignment kit gave him such a hard time he mistakenly did that while put everything in. The popping noise was my camber plates he crafted some spacers because they were causing my springs to bind.
