Quite low for "minimum" drop springs. On our S650's the BMR Minimum Drop Springs look pretty much exactly as low as the regular BMR SP080 Lowering springs on the S550's.
I really wish the car was just 3/8 - 1/2" lower from the factory and I wouldn't have to bother. No one in the aftermarket is...
So....to followup, in the past week I took the car into the dealership for some drivability issues I was having. After scanning the car and looking through its dealer history, they found that while the car was on the lot before I purchased it, the car threw P2122 and P2127 codes for a throttle...
With the level of lowering you got with the FP track springs, were the camber plates and alignment kit necessary? Would you have been VERY out of spec without the alignment parts? What did you use for bumpstops? Cut stock?
Would appreciate your followup on the suspension behavior after they replace the swaybar bushings. I have the same issue. It feels like the rear end bounces around a corner instead of settling into the turn on my 25 GT.
I would have gone 265/35/20 on 20x9 for a slightly shorter effective final drive and less weight. $300 bones is a lot cheaper on a set of 4 tires though.
I'd say this is an accurate statement. I'm just not close to where I think it could be, if in fact there is what is essentially a clutch delay valve in the elbow. It's better, but still not good. In other manual cars I've owned with a CDV, removal made a world of difference...or just made the...
Does anyone know definitively whether the 90 degree elbow between the hydraulic clutch line and the transmission has a clutch delay/one-way restrictor valve in it? The following TSB for the S550 directing replacement of that part in case people have certain issues with their clutches refers to...
Are the ANC mics present even in cars where ANC is disabled from the factory? Meaning, those of us with ANC turned off in module 727-01-01 from the factory, can we get ANC working simply by turning it on with Forscan?
So, finally remembered to try to connect to AA again and screenshot the error screen.
My car's date and time are correct and are set to auto update. Everything on my phone is updated and current. My phone connects to my other cars with AA perfectly fine.
Anyone know what Communication error 14...
Those of you running 25mm spacers....you're really not getting any rubbing at all? With hard cornering, big dips and bumps, etc., no rubbing? I guess it's possible, but hard to believe especially in the rear when all these pics of ppl running 1" spacers show the tires proud of the fenders by...
I was paraphrasing but there is an error message that shows up on my phone when trying to set up wireless AA. I'll have to followup with a screen shot.
