Today i try WOT for the first time after whipple installation and got a Wrench light after around 110+ mph i believe shifting from 5th to 6th im not sure because everything happens so quick i was not really looking down to the screen .

This is how i did the pull , SPORT mode Manual mode ( 10 speed btw ) from 3rd gear then i put it back to Drive to let the transmission do its thing .
and like i mention after 110+ mph it fell in it's face and threw a Wrench light .

Car runs great no codes where detected , i turn it off then back on and the wrench light was gone . What could be doing that ?
i didn't hit the rev limiter because again the transmission was shifting by it self .

Car still has the stock CAT's with just an H pipe and Active Exhaust .

I try again just to confirm and it did it again . So it was not a one time problem .

Could the Ford Performance stage 1 be limited to 130 mph ? im not sure im new to the Mustang eco system .
Feels like it fall's in is face around 130mph .

I do remember something about a speed limiter on the ford stage 1, probably a trade off for warranty I think

damn , yeah a few people on facebook S650 group have mention what you just said as well . Car pulls like a rocket til about 110 mph lol when the party is just getting started . Guess time to delete them kitties and go with an aftermarket tune . What tuner would you recommend to me ? And thank you btw .

speed limiter is 140 on stage 1 for fp and whipple and 10 speed
or at lease it was there has been new revisions since then so they may have lowered it

but there should be no wrench lights or anything for hitting the speed limiter

mines limited to 160 from Ford, not sure what your issue would be, i pull pretty much all the way to 160 then it just stops. i see you have aftermarket wheels, this is a stretch but possibly your installer didn't adjust your wheel/tire size when doing the tune so IRL speed doesn't match what the car thinks its going and that's making it throw the speed sensor code. either way if its still in warranty might as well have the dealer look at it

seems like it does , ive try it and only close to 140mph more like 135 mph throws the wrench light no stored codes or anything . Only in Ford app says something about the transmission not reaching desired gear .

log your vehicle using the tomahawk tool Whipple provided with your kit. That will tell you what’s happening.

Boost in higher gears can cause damage to the transmission, I.E. I never want to hold power 6-7, that’s where you’ll break stuff, if ford is gonna warranty it, they have to neuter it.

N/A isn’t gonna cause any problems in high rpm/high gear shifts

sounds like IPC tq error. Common if the tq tables arent right for the power level. Easy tune fix. Just have to tell whipple and see if they have an updated rev for you.
