  1. Dark Horse #9194 Checking in

There are rubber stoppers attached the the underside of the hood. They push against the body to adjust for hood flutter. Turn them clockwise and/or counterclockwise to adjust the hood. The seatbelt on the recaros does the same thing on mine. I just ignore it. The little seatbelt holder is a...
  2. Does a cat delete send into limp mode

Sure thing bud. Pre-2020 it was very common to tune the CEL off; which was done by turning off the rear o2 sensors. Those of us who live outside of emission regulated areas had no issues with it. While times have changed, don’t act like I’m the one who came up with this idea. The industry...
  3. Does a cat delete send into limp mode

I suggest a person talk to whatever tuner they choose to use and do exactly as they instruct. Not uncommon to turn off rear o2s on S550s, as you likely already know, assuming your username reflects your car ownership history.
  4. Does a cat delete send into limp mode

If you delete the cats and change nothing else, you’ll get a check engine light. You’ll need to run O2 defoulers to avoid that. You won’t run into limp mode with this option. You can also have the car tuned after installing catless headers and the tuner will ensure the check engine light issue...
  5. 2025 DH TRACK PACK Automatic transmission

Yes. That’s how it’s supposed to be.
  6. Check your swollen nuts!

Recently replaced all 20 lug nuts on my 2024 Dark Horse. Also replaced all 20 on my 2016 GT. The DH had no issues but I had to use a 21.5mm socket and a hammer to work on the 2016 GT. Those nuts were swollen real bad! It seems as though Ford still uses two piece lug nuts from the factory, which...
  7. Sports mode suspension with normal mode pedal/throttle mapping not an option?

Unfortunately, there is no way to do that from the factory menus. Custom tuning can change things but I’d only recommend going that route after you’ve installed performance upgrades.
  8. Stock Cat-back Dark Horse with Catless Kooks Headers?

The catted connecting tubes directly replace the catless tubes. The swap means unbolting the tubes from the headers at the ball flange (where the header meets the connecting tubes) and unbolting the other end of the connecting tubes where they meet the stock resonator. O2 sensors on the...
  9. Stock Cat-back Dark Horse with Catless Kooks Headers?

I live in Northern Virginia and have the setup you’re describing. The catless Kooks make the car significantly louder, especially with the exhaust in track mode. The revving is sorta loud… Under load, it’s incredibly loud. I’ve got the kooks cats/connecting tubes sitting in a box for when it’s...
  10. Front Radar bumper removal

Assuming you’re just disconnecting it, removing the bumper, then reinstalling everything? Then no, you don’t need to recalibrate anything.
  11. Jack recommendation

I use the Daytona low profile 3 ton jack with a urethane puck on top. The puck goes up against the jacking rails and protects from scratching. Before I installed jacking rails, I used the slits in a smaller urethane puck to align under the pinch weld. If you intend to use a floor jack for...
  12. Whipple finally installed!

Supercharging is life. Have fun man!
  13. Bug Splatter

I’m sure if you tag DFB he’ll know the best way to clean it.
  14. Supercharger Coming in Spring- What Supporting Mods am I missing?

Long tube headers are a huge plus. The stock cats don’t like boost temperatures. And probably a full 3 inch cat back if you’re going to do the headers. The supercharger will respond well to the exhaust. if you don’t want to do the exhaust, upgrading to the 112 throttle body and a modified tune...
  15. Has anyone experienced inadequate quality issues with RTR vehicles?

I failed to mention that my car has been garage kept since I bought it and only gets minor surface rust on the rotor face after I wash it. There is no surface rust on anything else.
  16. Has anyone experienced inadequate quality issues with RTR vehicles?

I can’t help with points of contact. I can empathize with your dissatisfaction after paying 94k. That’s a lot of money so I feel for you. I hope you find resolution. The engine picture you posted actually shows the harmonic balancer, not the supercharger pulley. The SC pulley is directly next...
  17. Whistling noise upon acceleration

Yes, it’s normal. The whistling is the sound a partially open throttle body makes. Harder to hear with stock air intakes, as they do a good job muffling that sound. Aftermarket intakes amplify it. if anyone has owned a fox body, you are very familiar with this sound, particularly when you...
  18. New to site just picked up a 2025 dark horse with H/P. painted portion under headlight looking for feed back

Not a fan but that’s the best part about cars; do whatever you want if it’s yours.
  19. Dark Horse cam install?

You cant hear the new whipple, especially inside the car. It’s silent compared to dodge blowers.
