I drove home with suspension blocks on... I had to take them off myself. I didn't think to check while I was at the dealer but once I got home, looked into the wheel well and sure enough, the big red blocks were still attached to the springs.
The WOT gear shifts in the 10R80, both in Sport and Track mode, are wicked fast. I used to be a 6 speed guy for decades. This is my first ever auto Mustang and I love it.
I absolutely read the first part of #3 and then saw the words in #2 at the same time... I thought you said "Replaces my wife". Holy cow, I almost died.
No interior color matching based on exterior colors, as of now. The DH interior is only a combination of blue/black or black.
Those of us who chose recaro seats are well aware that the seats and seat belts only come in blue/black combination, regardless of exterior color (my exterior is Dark...
Make sure you pay close attention to the tracker. The Ford tracker will update faster than your dealership can (most of the time) and you'll be able to see when it actually arrives. Some dealerships are much better about tracking but often, they aren't as focused on your car as you are.

In 2006, I drag raced my foxbody vs. a Pontiac TransAm WS6 t-top. Between the 2-3 shift, the WS6 passenger side t-top glass flew up and away from the car; crashing spectacularly on the roadside. I remember it like it was yesterday because it was so odd.
I'm sure you're referencing something...
I have the non-HP Dark Horse and I can do the same thing with my steering, drive modes, etc. I just don't have the same physical parts the HP has; which seems to be the real difference between them. From what I can tell, all of the DH technology and in-dash software is identical.
I also have USAA. Just for peace of mind, after I got my VIN, I added the vehicle to my USAA policy before I purchased the car (specifically, the day before). As soon as I hit submit, the car popped up on my policy with updated rates and coverage options. I added extra coverage for the DH but...
So far, I've only tinted the windows and removed the carbon traps. I plan to install jacking rails for quality of life but that's about it for now. A whipple is in the future but I'm still enjoying it naturally aspirated, for now.
Update: I got ahold of Ford and they told me paint code HY is used for the black Dark Horse exhaust tips. That doesn't seem right since HY also seems to be the Dark Matter Grey Metallic paint code...
What type of paint, and what specific paint color code, does Ford use for the exhaust tips on a Dark Horse?
The photo is zoomed in a bit but I've discovered a tiny paint chip where bare metal can be seen underneath the black paint.
I ordered my Dark Horse in April an drove it home in December. This is my first ever new car, built to order. I regret absolutely nothing about it.
Regardless of any "issues" that may exist with these cars, I am always reminded that these S650's are the pinnacle of Ford Mustang engineering...
