Just wish more places would carry 93 octane. Here in Arizona it is RARE. A few places that have it....all of them at least an hour away from me on the complete opposite side of the city, unfortunately. Then again, looking at products like Boostane...they do legit claim to be able to turn your 91 into 93 or 94..... Haven't tried that yet. Even when I do, not sure I'll notice a difference between that and "plain" old 91 octane gas.
I end up making it from 100 (Sunoco 260?) at the pump and 91 (Costco Top Tier). I'm hoping it really becomes 93 for the extra $1.35 or so a gallon (or about $22 per tankful).

Yeah that sounds way too complicated lol. Not to mention we dont get 93 here, and E85 is hard to come by. I'm good. šŸ˜‰
Yeah, if I didn’t have a station with e85 right here a mile away , then I wouldn’t mess with it either.

Pretty much have 2 gas stations here with e85, a third one if you want to drive into the hood.

And they only have 1 pump with e85 so that's even more annoying.

I have e70 at the Thortons but they only have 91 so I have to go across the street for the good Shell 93 to do the mix.
I must look really stupid! lol

I really hate to tell you that YOU’RE wasting your money but any difference you think you feel will be in your head not your pants. šŸ¤šŸ‘

I'll pass your opinion on to my wife as she needs more people on her side (even though she uses 91 in her 14 MPG 5.7 Hemi, which requires 89 or higher but Costco here is 87 or 91 only).

Out here in AZ where temps are well over 100 degrees for a long while, every bit of octane matters. I have high IAT even with the stock cold air intake. Lower octane could raise engine temps. I'm guessing that even a catch can helps with octane rating.

BTW "your wasting" and "you're wasting" are two different things. I possess money, I don't possess wasting.

You’re 100% correct, on both counts. :like:

It runs really nice and strong. I'm on my 3rd tank so fully adapted
I ran E25 in my S550 and she did 444 rwhp with the FP power kit, Borla Switchfire and FP by Borla aggressive mufflers.

Even with a cold air intake, look at my IAT of 110 F compared to ambient 109 F. Also, here’s when it 115 F, but I didn’t catch the IAT. At a traffic jam or light, I get really high IAT, I’m assuming that’s when I need use point in octane I can get.
