2024 Mustang GT S650 Rear Valance

Hey does anyone know if there will be a way or where to buy the “dark horse’s rear valance”? I think is such an aggressive look and I love how fully and boxy it is, I want to place it on my Base Model S650! If anyone knows anyone who’s willing to sell theirs or where to get one, lmk please!

I too am curious about this. One thing to think about though is the exhaust tip size. I believe the stock active exhaust tip size is 3.5” and the stock DH exhaust is 5”.

I would love to swap out for a DH lower valence, but even aftermarket exhaust come with 4” tips so I’m worried there would be an awkward sized gap at the exhaust tips.

I am sure we must know this by now right? Does a dark horse rear valance fit a GT? I would like to swap one onto my car too.

yes, requires permanent modification of a replaceable part but worth it.

If you add a diff cooler, say the Steeda kit or even the Ford parts, you need the DH or DH style bumper because it has the required ventilation.

I believe there is a strake under the valance that directs air to the diff cooler. I'd imagine it's part of the DH valance but could be wrong.

theres a plastic brace between the bumper and rear valance that has a couple bits that need to be cut off completely to properly install

The absorber has two arms that are used for support of the lower valence and belly pan. Those arms will have to be removed for the new lower valence and belly pan to work. Finished rear diff cooler install last week. All OEM parts to down to the bolts except for the thermal switch. Easy install and straightforward. Just looking for the correct DH exhaust tips now.

I see agreywolfe has the larger DH exhaust tips installed. Any advice for the tips?
