the mirror tilt down does not work properly on US model mirrors, and autofolding mirrors require you to do a total overseas mirror conversion, which is not easy or cheap. as for the shift indicator, you need to enable it in the IPC as well as the APIM
here it is in the APIM
and here in the IPC
then you go into the MyMustang Menu > Track Apps > Performance shift.
finally, that P160A code indicates that the PCM and BCM disagree on something. there should be something in FORScan for the PCM about relearning data, and run that. the rest of those codes are just kinda nonsense and can be cleared and ignored with no issues
Amazing response. Thank you for the support as always.

So I was reviewing post #83 in this thread showing As-Built codes from 401a (which I have) and comparing to the IPC 720-06-01 and APIM 7D0-10-03, and it seems like both the performance shift and performance shift indicator are already enabled in both when I was reviewing, unless I"m missing something:

Alright, I'll hook up this morning and check it out to see and check the settings to see if the options are there.

Thanks again

any reason you don’t want continuous gear display ?
Oh, I have that already. I did that one already. Was just trying to see if possible to get shift indicator light to show when driving in manual mode with paddles.

So just reporting back.....the IPC was set correctly already at "D".....the APIM needed to be revised to "4". Now it shows in track settings.

As far as the PCM, I tried to go in that module and it took a little more time and had me cycle the ignition off and back on, so seemed like that reset it hopefully, but not entirely sure.

no, the PCM thing isnt in the PCM itself, it's in one of the sidebar menus. click the wrench icon to go to service procedures and it should be in there

Ah, ok. It did say something like service procedure complete when it had me cycle ignition off then on. I'll go back into that settings to check again. Thanks.

it really depends on how happy you are with the car to begin with. if youre perfectly happy with how it is factory, then it may not be worth it. if you plan to do things like put on much different size rear tires or put in a new diff ratio then it may be worth it. if you plan to do big things like retrofit heated and/or cooled seats, add power folding mirrors, or give the vehicle approach lighting, as well as experimenting just to see what you can add, its definitely worth it. personally, i fall into the 3rd camp of experimenting and retrofitting, plus i also use it at work if, for example, someone wants their auto start-stop disabled, or the key detection alert disabled
Hey. Looking through this. I plan on changing my welcome lighting to the DH lighting, turn off seat belt screen , and a few other things. How do you disable the auto stop start on forscan, and does it cause any issues / codes doing so??

my ability to help with the auto start stop will be limited because mine doesnt have it, so i would honestly search around for someone else who does to help you with that. for the seat belt screen, im pretty sure there was an entire thread for that around here somewhere. finally, for the greeting lighting, you want to go into the LDCMA and LDCMB and change this value. you will want to change it to "2" for animation 1

It’s so hard to understand the values because it says like “2” is “animation 1”. What is animation 1? Wonder why it doesn’t say like “dark horse lighting”.

its because Ford didnt design anything with people like us in mind. in their systems, this all makes 100% complete sense. they have a lot of unique or questionable choices, but as a programmer myself, it makes sense because to them it probably makes perfect sense, and thats all that really matters

Interesting. So do you know what really all the options are? I know like number 2 is dark horse lighting, another number is premium. What are the other like 7?
