Not sure, I haven’t looked into it because I have MDH, so I’m fine with the animation.

After reading, reading, and more reading, I pulled the trigger on an adapter and ran my first session. Love all the changes made (even as minor as some of them are). Turned off all the alert sounds (door ajar, seat belt, etc.) as well as the seat belt splash screen. Updated the speedometer and constant gear display, turned on the WAL and updated the welcome lighting to DH configuration.

Does anyone know if there is a setting to have the doors unlock when approaching? Or only done via touch to door handles?

Also, was looking at updating the tire size so it's accurate, and found this in the BCM module. Was trying to understand if -01 is the front, and -02 is the rear (just making assumption here).

those are for the rear tires only. they are the hexadecimal version of the circumference of the rear tires in mm, and the first two digits go in -01, the last two go in -02.
or, if you dont want to do any guessing, you can use a tool i made at this link. you just input your rear tire size and it does all the work for you

Thanks for this.

I was browsing more through the BCM module, and see a number of them that say (autounlock........) just unsure how to know if that's what my intentions are of unlocking just walking up to the car.

Thanks again

Hey, question. By constant gear display, do you mean you managed to show what gear you’re in at all times with the 10 speed auto? If so, how??? I’ve been dying to figure that out.

So, not sure if this is anything or if I'm just making it up in my head. I did the change to the DH welcome lighting, but it seems like I have to get much closer to the car for it to go off.

Would any of this change cause a lower sensitivity for this? Just seems like i have to get right next to the car for it to acknowledge me now.

Ok, so I think I was just an idiot and never realized the welcome lighting doesn't go on when you've used remote start......One of those make a change and expect something different that was never really there before.

That said, was reading through this thread again.....could someone explain a little more the changes to the tachometer and the different benefits of each of the options?

there really is no benefit to changing that value unless your vehicle has somehow swapped engines. i think the reduced low fuel DTE reminder makes it so that the vehicle will tell you sooner than 50 miles to E that fuel is low

Ok, that's what I figured. Just thought since it was noted at start of this thread there may be more benefit.

Thanks

I apologize for the lengthy post; however, I'm new getting into this and I love learning all that I can and finding different things/settings out.

First, I was looking into possible folding mirrors and mirror tilt when in reverse for parking (to maximize space but keep wheels safe from curbs). This is what I was thinking:

Second, I was looking into shift indicator light when using paddles in more of a manual mode. Was trying to do some research, and this is what I was thinking for that:

Lastly, since I'm new to this, is it normal to get DTC's after making modifications in Forscan? I've only made minor modifications thus far (DH welcome lighting, WAL, etc.); however, I noticed in Forscan I'm getting some DTC's although they don't necessarily seem related......

the mirror tilt down does not work properly on US model mirrors, and autofolding mirrors require you to do a total overseas mirror conversion, which is not easy or cheap. as for the shift indicator, you need to enable it in the IPC as well as the APIM
here it is in the APIM
and here in the IPC
then you go into the MyMustang Menu > Track Apps > Performance shift.
finally, that P160A code indicates that the PCM and BCM disagree on something. there should be something in FORScan for the PCM about relearning data, and run that. the rest of those codes are just kinda nonsense and can be cleared and ignored with no issues
