Sales manager entered order at 2:02pm on 6/21, received order confirmation email from Ford at 2:11pm, then received VIN this morning, 6/22 at 10:52am.

When I ordered, the sales rep said he was hoping it would be scheduled and VIN assigned this week.

Yes, my mistake. I had August on my mind for the build week. I’ve corrected it to reference June 21 order date and June 22 VIN assigned.

That’s great luck. I ordered mine 6/12, but the sales guy didn’t even put it in the system until 6/16. I was hoping to get scheduled this week but I haven’t heard anything today, hopefully I hear from them next Thursday

Got a GT Premium Coupe in Vapor Blue with 401A; no PP, AE, or NP. I was hoping that since my build doesn't have the popular packages (especially NP and PP) it would be more straightforward, but I haven't heard anything yet.

That’s crazy man! I placed my order 6/12. (401A convertible, PP, Bronze package, Magneride, active exhaust). And I got scheduled 2 days later for the week of 7/31. Sorry to hear your still waiting.

Glad to hear you got scheduled so soon. I think it comes down to incompetency with the sales rep that I was talking to; I’ve tried asking him for more details on the order status but he keeps giving me the same response. At this point I’m looking at other dealers and thinking about putting my deposit in elsewhere.

This whole situation makes me envy the way Tesla allows you to order directly from OEM without the dealership middlemen
