I never got an order number, does anyone know where I can find it?

I had to ask my salesperson to send me the order summary / preview order which has the order code on it. I think officially that sheet is called the DORA (dealer order receipt acknowledgement). But it’s what ford gives the dealer as a receipt after the order is placed I think.

You should be able to ask your salesperson to give it to you.

Just ordered mine today in Houston, so far out of the 13 dealers i talked to, one of them did MSRP. Everyone else wants 10-20k on top of sticker. They’re telling me they’re treating it like it’s a “Shelby”.

now off to sell my 18 GT this weekend before the new mustangs come out.

Does the active exhaust make it louder?

It can. It depends.

Active Exhaust is a series of cutouts within the exhaust system which can alter flow and sound, depending on the driving mode.

The Mustang can offer several driving modes. These modes stiffen steering, adjust handling (with Magneride), change throttle response, etc. They can also vary the exhaust note, if Active Exhaust is installed.

In Normal mode, well, it's normal. In Sport+ mode, the exhaust is a bit louder and the tone is different. Track Mode louder still; not to be used on the street, this mode is an essentially an open exhaust.

Many select Active Exhaust. Some which intend to replace or mod their systems, don't.

Magneride and Active Exhaust are two of the most popular options. If you have not been issued a VIN, you can still have your order modified.

Wanted to drop my spec since I haven't seen too many convertibles. 1st time ever ordering a new car, super excited but the wait is going to be absolutely brutal.

I live in Nashville Tennessee and Ordered with Brighton Ford in Michigan because Sales Person -Aly D has always taken care of us.

So, I'm curious since the build site isn't the best:
1. With your PP and Nite Pony, do you get a black raised spoiler (like the pic below) or not? All of the pics on the internet seem to suggest one would, but that doesn't appear to be the case in ordering reality.

2. WIth your PP and Nite Pony, are you getting the wheels below, being also those in the pic above (b/c the build wheel selection has something else):

The build site suggests one would get this in black:

I would assume if you ordered night pony the above picture is what you would get and the ordering site is wrong especially because that car specifically has been fords main marketing version of the car so I bet a lot of people would be mad if they couldn’t order that exact one

I think magna ride is standard on the Dark Horse.

Yea, you'd think. It's just that there is no indication that I can see that one gets anything other than a body color raised spoiler. Maybe someone on here can demonstrate otherwise.
