Meh. I found my 23 Mach 1 which has everything I wanted in a dark horse anyway (the tremec). If my dark horse doesn’t get built in 24, Im not gonna convert it. Heck I might not even buy it if given the opportunity.
At least where I live it’s expected that if you get stopped for a moving violation, the cop will try to nail you for everything possible in addition to the moving violation. Expired registration? That’s an extra ticket. Illegally tinted windshield? Extra ticket. Illegally driving without front...
Correct. That site is SUPPOSED to be only for customers that order directly through the ford website. You can do this with only certain models such as the Ford F-150 Lightning I think.
Bronco is a way more desirable vehicle than the mustang though. One of the dealers told me that they thought the mustang was gonna be more popular than it turned out to be but they got way more bronco orders. And almost no mustang orders.
When a dealer orders stock, those are not retail. Retail means sold as in the dealer placed the order on behalf of a customer. So if you purchase a car that was sitting on a lot, that is not a retail order. There are some exceptions like if a customer ordered a car but walked away from it. Then...
Your order’s priority code doesn’t mean anything with regards to any other order except those from the same dealer. It just determines the sequence in which orders from that dealer get built whenever your dealer receives a single allocation.
Haha I know what you mean. I haven’t told my dealer who is marking them up $7K to find someone else to buy it. If my MSRP order falls through for some reason, I’ll be paying max $7K over. But it’s definitely not unheard of for dealers to throw in surprise fees at the time of closing. Especially...
At least for someone of my temperament, owning an automatic mustang gt sucked. I just wanted to race everyone, accelerate quicker, and go faster. Nothing else was fun about it. At least with a manual, everything is fun about it. Maybe I would get smoked by just about every automatic pony/sports...
Agree with your comment on the A10. There’s a good chance I won’t purchase from the dealer that is charging over MSRP. I will most likely go through with the one that quoted me MSRP.
That’s because the roof gets painted with a thick black stripe. And two lighter stripes. A couple slivers of the base paint can be seen between the black and lighter stripes.
Many dealers in the Houston and Dallas area are doing 5-10K over MSRP. I have one order at $7K over. And a second one at MSRP at a different dealer placed 4 days after the first one.
I do not remember. But you use forscan software plus a dongle that you plug into the obd2 port. You can mess with the as built data of just about any modern ford car.
Turn off the annoying honk when you close the door with the engine on.
I did it to my 2016 gt and my 2021 Mach 1. And I’m gonna do it to my dark horse as soon as I get it home.
