Thanks for the input. For the 20s, what brand of tire did you have in your GT?I've owned 2025 GT's with both 19 and 20. With a stock suspension, and going to 265/35R20, you'll hardly notice a difference. It seems handling is better. I bought a new 2020 Z51 Corvette with Mag Ride, and regardless of the Tour setting, my 6 speed GT with 20 inch wheels is easier to take.
Awesome. Thanks!I'm attaching some reference links. These are not DH-specific, but will have feedback from others.

The circumference of the tire can vary larger or smaller, to a point. Going beyond a limit, shift points can change, ABS can be affected, along with other electronics.

The idea of going from a 19 to a 20 is not an issue. The idea of going from a 18 or a "short" 19 to a "tall" 20, could be.
Going to a taller tire, to stay close to the original, many go from a 35 profile to a 30. With that, the ride is generally harsher.
Road conditions will be a factor. If you live in an area with good roads, it might be a nice change. With poor roads, you might stick with the 19s.
Attached is a tool with rim size and offset for the factory rims. It was created by the folks at https://dragracingwheels.com/ , a sponsor of this site.
This is a good site for reviewing differences in sizing: https://tiresize.com/comparison/

The tire that came with the car: Goodyear Eagle All Season. Thanks for the input. For the 20s, what brand of tire did you have in your GT?
Like Chitown, I went from 19's to 20's and I like the ride better now. I went with 275/35 and 305/35, but I sill have a bigger side wall that my OE 255/40's.Nice DH! I heard that 20s make the ride harsher but Thanks for the feedback. Much apprecited.
You have more side wall on the rears but not the fronts. (According to math...)Like Chitown, I went from 19's to 20's and I like the ride better now. I went with 275/35 and 305/35, but I sill have a bigger side wall that my OE 255/40's.
It's about sidewall height and rigidity, it may not ride worse, better is a long shotThe bigger wheel with less tire absorbs bumps better?
I'm awareIt's about sidewall height and rigidity, it may not ride worse, better is a long shot
I hear what you are saying... I guess I need to put the 305's on the front and then go get some 315's for the rear. I like the way you think! You have more side wall on the rears but not the fronts. (According to math...)
255/40 is about 102mm side wall
275/35 is about 96 mm side wall
305/35 is about 107 mm side wall
