I can't find any information on them. The Trofeo R has existed for some time now and is an extremely competitive sub-100tw compound. There is zero information about this new Trofeo RS.

What do you guys think they'll be. My guess is a 200tw tire that competes somewhere between a Cup 2 and something like a Bridgestone RE-71RS.

Edit: THE TREADWEAR RATING IS 100. Dear god, that's intense for a road tire from the factory on a volume car!!! For reference, Cup 2s have a treadwear rating of 180.

The PZ4 on my Eco/PP1 have a rating of '80'. They are less sticky and last much longer than the '180' cup2. so I wouldn't read anything into the so-called performance or longevity of any factory-supplied Pirelli. It's all bull-sh*t.

UTCG ratings aren't complete B.S. but they can be very misleading

The reason the Treadwear grade may not be incredibly reliable is twofold. First, since the tires are only run for 7,200 miles, the tire manufacturers have to extrapolate the remainder of the data, and that can be open to some interpretation. Second, the tire manufacturers are allowed to under-report the Treadwear grade, just not over-report it. So if a tire technically may be able to achieve a 700 rating, the manufacturer (primarily the marketing department) might want to report it as 400 to make it "fit" better in a certain market segment. As a result, it is generally only somewhat helpful to compare Treadwear grades on tires from the same manufacturer, and we don’t recommend comparing grades between different brands.

Thnx @OppoLock , am quite interested in these tires as well. Can’t find anything at all. Not any kind of pre advertising. Will definitely keep an eye out for these.

If equipped, like the Mach 1 HP, I'd be prepared to swap them out immediately. Potentially great track tires, they'll be throwing so many rocks, not to mention the tram lining and being useless in cold weather, you'll want to have a new set at the ready.

Further, like the HP, production might be limited to non-cold weather months. If you intend on ordering a DH, plan accordingly.

Did anyone see what the non-handling pack p zero tires are?

Trofeo RS is a track focused tire that meets DOT for street use. Expect it will be comparable to the Michelin Cup 2 R. It was seen on the 992 GT3RS testing a couple months ago

If Preuninger and the rest of the GT team are willing to stick these tires on their top dog then I have full confidence in them as a product. That’s great to see.

Let’s hope they’re still 4Ss and not one of the awful UHP P Zero variants.

Well, looks like they are PZ4 P Zero for the non-handling package. I assume those are not as good as the 4Ss?

Found here: Ford DH Press Release
Here's the most comprehensive test you'll see featuring both of these tires. You can draw your own conclusions but it's not as bad as we like to say.
