Stangmode did a 0-60 in 3.9 with three people in the car on an unprepared surface on a very hot day. This thing might genuinely be throwing down times of 3.7-3.8 if not better on a track with just the driver. Maybe even better.

Motortrend and R&T both ran 3.9 and 3.8sec 0-60s respectively in 2018 (with the A10), so I'd expect that or better. Pretty awesome to do that with passengers

..... and you run with three people in a car, when you are trying to get numbers?

100lbs is a tenth so... I'd say 3.5-3.6

Not sure what tires you have in mind, but the Dark Horse without the HP comes with somewhat skinny tires (255 in front and 275 in the back).

that is the standard Dark Horse, the HP gives it Trofeo RS 305 and 315s

I have some serious doubts here…

First off, why is everyone saying there are 3 people in the car? Doesn’t the screen indicate it’s “just” 2 and the driver hasn’t got his seatbelt on? Does he say at any time that there are three people in the car?

Second, 3.9 is the time recorded by Fords own software…

Third, I’m pretty sure it’s going slightly downhill in the last run I’m not 100% sure. Maybe the camera is slightly off?

Fourth, isn’t a hot tarmac favorable in regards of grip?

I’m sure the new S650 will be slightly faster than the S550 but I’m also quite sure that if we compare apples to apples and measure everything with an independent GPS tracker, on a flat and unprepared surface we won’t see any 3.9 seconds… not 0-60mp/h and certainly not 0-100km/h.
Hopefully I’m wrong but I don’t see where much better times should come from…

I think he pan the camera backwards and says there's someone sitting in the backseat

To be fair, s550s with the 10 speed were already doing 3.9 0-60 runs. This car has more power, and puts it's power down far better than the s550 apparently. That's according to That dudeinblue who mentioned how it just hooks with no issues. I'm also hearing the 10 speed is more responsive when driven hard. It's reasonable to assume those three improvements could account for shaving a tenth or two off.

i am very surprised to see a 3.4 when the old one did 3.9
The car is the same weight and engine is close enough the same as the FN mustang.

big fan of the bmw m340i xdrive that does 3.5-4 seconds 0-60 i doubt this is quicker
Where did anyone say it did a 3.4?

The video below are reliable sources and the below 2021 GT A10 (From Australia) did a 4.9 so a second more then the US times

Wait til someone pulls both carbon traps and actually lets the car breathe …
Wait until someone notices the car gained weight again. They are reporting 3800+ curb weight. 550 was 3705 I believe?
