Sounds wicked. Seems to build revs quickly.

I hope so. Otherwise this sounds like a high revving Coyote but overall all the sound clips so far make the S650 sounds like the best sounding Mustang.

Farfetched thinking, I know, but I'd like to imagine that sound on whatever variant of the Mustang will be slotted above the GT. Something street-legal, of course, like a BOSS- or Shelby-type.

I think that's extremely likely. Kinda like how the zo6 sounds very similar to the Corvette racecars. Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting strong gt350 successor vibes from this engine noise. I know it's probably not the voodoo, but still.

If it's like the existing GT4, it'll be straight cut gears in a sequential box...

This piece was written by a friend of mine :)

On the GT4 race car the manual shift is pneumatically assisted, and the straight-cut gears in the Holinger gearbox do not require the use of the clutch once in motion. Flappy paddles are used to control the sequential shift action while compressed air fires like a rifle shot up and down the gears. The chance of missing a gear is minimal.

You can hear the whine of the straight cut gears. It's definitely a sequential transmission. The whine combined with the loud exhaust makes me think this is the next GT4 or GT3 car.
