Can those be painted over? Can you link those products?

its all pretty much the same surface shield and wool wax are thicker so last longer but not really an issue you since it will no longer begetting wet or hit

Awesome. Yeah once I get franks parts I actually planned to seal the hole with some sort of RTV to ensure it’s locked for good. You will have to excuse all the questions but you said these prevent rust what about the surface rust that looks like it’s already there? No scuffing needed? Just spray this and walk away? Just wanting to ensure I really do my due diligence before I close everything up.

yeah these stop rust as things can only rust with access to air and water the oil displaces that so it cant happen
and no prep needed

You are operating under the assumption that Ford cares anything at all about this. If the inner liner has changed its due to a process change, not anything we've said here or complained about.
All that has happened is that there is now a flap rather than a hole for when the car is on the line - it is supported there during the build.

Surface shield appears to be pretty legit that’s what I will be using then putting franks product on it for coverage.

With those products you must decant it into a container NOT brush from the pot or it ruins the rest of it as rust flakes get into the pot. Brush will wash in water afterwards.
Already ahead of you surface shield is what I’m gonna be using. With some sort of applicator

You must use the rust treatment first or you simply seal in the rust and it carries on underneath
It can be applied directly to rust. It encapsulates it and inhibits further damage it’s pretty incredible
