500 miles on the new darkhorse currently. Took it out one last time before winter sets in ohio. Noticed a spot where the rear bumper cover meets the body that was bot there the day before. Wondering if I can correct the problem myself

Looks like a clip popped out….can you give it a lot bump with the side of a fist and see if it pops back in?

Ok, I will see if that works. With the same seam right as it get to the absolute back the two panels are actually touching. Afraid it would eventually chew through the paint if not addressed. Hoping getting it back into place will put separation back in that area. Surprisingly it's the only fitment issue mine had

There’s a TSB for that. Look on the TSB page. The dealer will remove and install tape to secure the bumper.
. 10/2/23 - 23-2302 - "Rear Bumper Cover To Quarter Panel Poor Fitment And/Or Excessive Body Gap"

Some 2024 Mustang vehicles may exhibit a condition where the rear bumper cover has poor fitment and/or excessive body gap where it meets the quarter panel. This may be due to incorrect installation and/or missing panel adhesive tape. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to apply panel adhesive tape and re-install the rear bumper cover.
