Have you ever driven one?

Nothing accelerates like an electric vehicle, the torque curve is flat, at maximum power from second one and will put a smile on your face.

So it is gasoline only for you?

Diesels can make power and incredible amounts of torque

Steam was used to power cars at one time too.

Natural Gas? Propane? Hydrogen, Alcohol?

Turbines?

There are many ways to get a wheel to spin.
Yes, I have driven an EV. It was reasonably quick once out of eco mode, it was eerily quiet and handled well. But totally soulless. I might have considered one as a town car, then the stories of gross depreciation and ridiculous insurance premiums hit and I scratched that idea.

Diesels are OK, I've done 10,000kms around Italy in Peugeot diesels, the economy was fantastic and the rumble of the engine feels like it's working. But they had terrible turbo lag on those alpine hairpin bends, and they got breathless at low revs (compared to gas engines). Great highway cruisers.
So, yes it's volatile dino juice for me. Preferably in a high revving N/A engine with serious power.
I haven't said no to forced induction though.
I think the Mustang might see me out.

What vehicle is that engine in? Sounds supercharged to me.
The C8 Z06….it’s a naturally aspirated, flat plane crank engine that redlines at 8,500 RPM. GM claims it’s the most powerful naturally aspirated production engine ever built. Feedback is that it’s better suited for a track environment over street use as you have to wind it up tight to get it really moving.

The C8 has one thing the 5.0 doesn’t have……..low end TORQUE and lots of it.
- coming from a Dark Horse owner and C8 owner.

Serious question for you! Since you have both awesome rides am I making a serious mistake trading my 23 c8 z51 HTC for a 2025 manual nonHP DH? Funny thing I traded a 21 hp Mach 1 for the c8 1 yr ago 4th of July...lol. Anyway the deal is very good $7500 discount and trade appraisal on my C8 seems too good to pass up. Thanks!

Side note...I was actually looking for another GT350 since I use to own one too specifically a HEP but they are just too expensive now.
